About Us

Family run boutique holiday homes

Three beautifully bespoke holiday homes catering for every size and shape of family gathering. We inherited Thornyfield Holiday Cottage when our own young family moved into the adjoining farm house in 2015. Since then we have renovated the cottage and converted the 18th century barn into a 5 star family getaway. Adding a purpose built a woodcutters lodge for a more intimate family or couple’s escape.

Purpose built experiences

Each of our holiday homes has been developed to offer something a little bit different but all to the same high standard and all with a personal touch. Catering for family holidays from two to twenty, we are on hand to make your experience exceptional.

Occasions to remember

This website was developed at the request of our customers who want to return and have the flexibility of cottages to rent directly, and to invite family and friends to join them in escaping to the lakes.
