The Property
First recorded on Maps in 1580 Thornyfield House is one of the oldest farmsteads in the area, this stunning period Farmhouse has been lovingly restored in the 2020s to a five bedroom holiday dwelling sleeping ten. Offering exquisite authentic Lake District architecture blended with modern amenities. The House benefits from an 8 person hot tub, adult and Kids games rooms with Card & Board Games or Video Arcade machine and table football.
The House Today
Entering into a spacious lounge with deep 12 seater sofas and large central woodburner guests have the ideal central place to come together stream a movie or just relax after a big day out. Moving through to the Fabulous bespoke modern kitchen dinner with large central island, SMEG appliances throughout and 10 seater oak dining table gests find ample space to host everyone to cook together and dine in style.
The charming dining area lies close by with bespoke beach chairs and bench seating, ideal for enjoying meals together. The 12 seater Oak table was crafted with wood from the original building. Wander through the large French doors and up the stairs to a relaxing patio area with ample outside dining and 8 person hot tub surround by wild flowers garden, apple and damson trees. The patio and views of the garden create a peaceful backdrop, while several of the best local walks start right from the front door.
